I have received my dishy and after unpacking it found that the cable had already been inserted. The box has additional tape on it, so I suspect that I have received a returned unit. I have lodged a support ticket with starlink to see what they come back with. I have give the cable a few good pulls and it doesn't flinch. I'll update the post with whatever I get from support.
Sent a support request and there respo se was that it may have been accidentally glued!! They posted a new unit and provided RMA details for a DHL pick up of the dodgy dishy.
I wouldn’t recommend using dielectric grease, although in theory it would be a great idea. The problem is the grease collects the dust and dirt in it, the Starlink connection are so small that any amount could pose a problem. The 2nd Gen system has rubber seals on its connections, that are suppose to keep the connection dry and clean. I’ve had to clean up over used dielectric grease off of connections, it was not fun very messy, only in more extreme conditions would I consider using some.
Hello Galen welcome to the community! I think your asking about the Gen 2 Connections. There have been some problems with them getting damaged. The connections are so fine that even a slight drop onto a hard surface can be enough to prevent it from going in properly. I highly recommend taping up the connections while installing the system to prevent this from happening. The connections are keyed and will only go in a certain way, as long as it's clean and not damaged it should slide in very easily.
To remove and reinstall a cable at a Gen2 dish:
1. Power off all connected devices.
2. Unscrew the cable connector from the LNB.
3. Inspect the cable for damage.
4. Reattach the cable securely to the LNB.
5. Test the connection for signal reception for nadim togel.
6. Optionally, weatherproof the connection.
7. Adjust the dish alignment if necessary.
If it will not come out of its socket it is junk. Or you do not know how to do it.
I mean people might need to remove it. Like maybe to install it.
I'm sure it's designed to be removed.
I am getting ready to order Starlink and hope you will respond to the outcome.
