My gen 2 is on the way BUT I can no longer extend the cable as you could with gen 1 since there is no power brick that allowed you to use ethernet cable from the brick in an out location to the modem in the house. Can I put the gen 2 modem in an out building with power, use the ethernet adapter and run exterior cat 6 cable to another modem in the house? Can't come up with any other option. HELP!

I ended up putting the router and ethernet adapter in a drywall bucket halfway to the dishy. I ran an AC extension cord and a Cat6 cable to the bucket as well. The Cat6 cable connects to the Asus RT- AX3000 router in my home network. This is a temporary move while waiting for my 150 ft cable from Starlink. It works fine.
