First off thanks for any help and advice.
Im looking to purchase Starlink but I'm not sure it will work in my situation.. Please let me explain.. So I'm in an excellent area for the Starlink service (Newfoundland) my property has 2 buildings about 100 plus feet apart.. The house(building 1) and we have a studio(building 2) behind at a much higher elevation. when I test for obstructions with the app I have alot of trees blocking my signal at the House so the app tells me to find a new location.. When I test on the Roof of the studio the app confirms its an excellent location.. My question is if I setup the starlink system at the studio and purchase the ethernet adapter could I run cat 6cable in a pvc pipe down to my house and connect it to the current Asus router I have.. I would want to leave the Starlink Wifi router setup in the studio for coverage up there and have the Asus router cover the house for its Wifi needs.. I'm currently running very slow DSL at my house and have a Asus router setup handling all the devices and WiFi needs. The DSL router is still enabled but has a device limit.. The DSL info I'm providing is probably unnecessary but just trying to give you some insite to what I have.. Also on my current setup I have very little WiFi strength in my studio even with an extender up there.. This is why I'm hoping to run the cat 6 cable to have equal performance at both locations.
Thanks again for any help before I pull the trigger and buy $800 Worth of starlink hardware, pipe and cat 6 cable.
Anthony.
