I was finally allowed to order a Starlink terminal, I was originally planning on using a Flat Ethernet cable to run it into my camper, but since the new equipment has a proprietary cable this option is gone, has anyone figured out a way to run the dish cable into a camper without making damaging modifications to the camper? If there was a quick disconnect mid way down the cable I could just run it through a vent "a lot of work" with this current cable I can't figure out how to run it each time we setup and still keep the screens installed and Windows closed. Punching a hole through they fiberglass is not a option in a 2022 camper. Especially if I can't put a Ethernet port behind a cover. What are other campers doing with this new hardware?

Hello Kenneth, welcome to the community! As an option (Depends on how your mounting Dishy) you can install the router inside one of you cubbies/storage areas that run along the bottom of the trailer. They often have entrances built in for cables/water lines to be connected to the RVas well as electrical outlets. Because RV's are tiny compared to homes the SL Router can push the signal from underneath throughout the RV no problem. Build a little shelf or use some Velcro and straps to hold the SL router in place, mount it where it is as clean and dry. This is just one of the options I can think of, will see if any others have some suggestions. hope this helps.
