Hi, i purchased my starlink and selected residential and inputted my address at camp where my rv is. I changed the service to rv now to try it at home where i had it delivered. I have no internet and it says unexpected location. Does it take time to start working? It says its online on the app.

Starlink customer service was going to change the location to my home where i had it delivered but i told them to leave the rv location in since i was going there the next day. I had it working in 5 minutes after setting it up at the lake. I chose the rv option so i can pause service for the winter. Its not cheap in Canada..im paying $188/m.
Hello Clint, welcome to the community! I’m unsure as to what you have done exactly, sounds like you have an RV system that your using at home? Either way it should be working, for you. we have moved a number of residential systems around and have found that they can take about 20 minutes to come online, and sometimes they will not come back online until we’ve rebooted the system. This being said we’ve also had system that came online within minutes of being plugged in. I think your going to have to figure out the sequence that works best for your system, this usually takes a few times of setting it up and taking it down at a known good location before taking it on the road.
