Hello, I just hooked up a Gen2 and am waiting on the ethernet adapter. I was hoping to use Starlink as input to an ethernet hub that would have two cables as output: one computer nearby wired directly and a second going out to a device that can make a wi-fi network for the rest of the devices (phones, a Roku, etc.) to use. All I can find on YouTube is someone who sets “Bypass Starlink Router” on and then uses a Ubiquity Dream Machine Pro, which has the usual RJ45 ports and wi-fi. The latter are on the $$ side. I am unfamiliar with all the networking terminology so I want to see if anyone can summarize what I need to read up on and if there’s some other more affordable other device(s) that can do the job just as well.
